The FrankfurtRheinMain International Office is often the first point of contact for people coming from abroad to the FrankfurtRheinMain (FRM) region. Our team supports newcomers before and after arriving, providing advice on working, studying and living in FRM, as well as guiding in the right direction for other services. The office is part of the FrankfurtRheinMain Regional Authority and we are able to provide advice free of charge on a wide range of topics and services. In particular, we give advice on recognition of qualifications, employment advice and the job market, vocational training as well as on the German way of life.
FrankfurtRheinMain is unique. It is not just Frankfurt, and there is much more to the region than finance and trade fairs. The region is diverse and is made up of numerous towns and municipalities with a total of around 5.8 million inhabitants. It has a strong economy with great job prospects. It offers great quality of life as well as cultural diversity. It has a well-developed infrastructure with short travelling distances within the region. FRM is green, and is in the best location, right in the heart of Europe.
